Leialoha TYG (aka Lilly)

Currently nursing her June 2023 foal Rootin' Tootin' TYG, this 16h registered Westphalian mare is bred for dressage, eventing and/or hunter/jumper. Lilly’s mother, Leilani TYG, is the ½ sister of the preliminary eventer Worthy Opponent.

Her maternal bloodlines include Prinz Gaylord, Furioso II, Lehndorff, Weltmeyer, Bolero, and Gofine, and on her paternal side is an Art Deco/English-Irish Thoroughbred cross. She returned from colt-starter June 2021 and now being worked at the ranch.

A 16.2 h an affectionate, sensitive, forward-but-focused 2014 very solidly built 1/2 Thoroughbred who enjoys being out on the trail.  Being a "relationship mare", the more praise she gets the more eager she is to please her rider. She has the movement and mind to make an excellent equitation, trail horse, Working Equitation, Western Dressage, or hunter partner.

Callie_edited.jpg

Callie is a solidly built 16.3h Appendix 1/2 Thoroughbred (sire Sharp Writer... with classic old Hyperion hunter/jumper lines) who has the potential and mind to make an excellent eventer, field hunter, or trail horse. She is currently being ridden by a timid para rider. Callie likes trails but has W,T,C and ring jumping as well as solid fences cross country training in her past with NO history of injuries, lameness, or colic. She is quiet and relaxed on trails, alone or with others. When ridden by a beginner, she will look to her designated person (mares, gotta love them) or ground teacher/trainer for clarification as to what is expected, rather than be stupid or naughty.

She seem to be a natural candidate for trails, fox hunting, cross country or low level eventing.  She enjoys variety and likes to jump, and, while she can have flashy gaits it coerced, she is a "daisy cropper" making her easy on her riders back/neck (and bareback ridable).

She will make a wonderful amateur partner in wherever her new owner wants to go: English, bareback, or Western.
