Born 2013, Leialoha is out of Leilani by a (now gelded) hunter who was by Art Deco out of a GOV approved and GOV accepted TB (Chef Melissa).  This Dutch/TB/Oldenberger Verband cross resulted in this gorgeous, elegant mare who was registered Westfalen.  She has only had one foal, but was an easy, one-time impregnation. who foaled seamlessly without intervention, bonded immediately with her son (Rootin' Tootin') and was an attentive and affectionate alpha mother.

 

Prior to that she was companion and "ranch horse", who was started by the respectable trainer Tom Diaz. She is very personable, smart and friendly, with correct conformation, with a typey jumping style, and fabulous gaits. She has been re- started to muscle up with daily ground training, long lining, driving, and free jumping.

Our plan is to retire from breeding, but our retirement is your gain, since she is a valuable partner, both as a broodmare and as a performance horse (although currently should continue her restarting program for strengthening.)  Her full sister Artimus, was sold to an adult amateur, who adores her, and moved her to her back yard in the Southern California area

BLOODLINE REFERENCES

 Leialoha's mother is Leilani TYG,  who's brother, Worthy Opponent, is an approved Hanoverian Stallion who is a successful preliminary eventer. Leilani's bloodlines include Prinz Gaylord, Furioso II, Lehndorff, Weltmeyer, Bolero, and Gofine. (See "Leilani TYG" page under "Bloodline References" tab).

Leialoha also carries some of the best “old sporthorse” European TB bloodlines (Saros, Fallow, Pardal, Olden Times, Honeyway, Princely Gift, Ratification, Precipitation).

 

Leialoha's maternal grandsire is Waikiki (Hanoverian Celle stallion).

Her paternal grandsire is Art Deco, an imported Dutch stallion, who is well known for throwing offspring winning in dressage, hunter, and eventing shows.
