At the Westfalen Inspection

Artemis TYG

Artimus is a very fancy 2012 TOBIANO registered Westphalian mare who has been under saddle for about 2 years.  She has hunter conformation with a personable, easy-going mind who will be a very fancy dressage, hunter or Working Equitation partner. She is more “whoa” than “go”, but is becoming more “forward” every week with her regular hill work. She is a lovely, floaty mover, with a very active hind leg, but is easy to sit.  She is currently 16.1h, with a substantial barrel (currently a size 50 girth on a Pessoa) & will probably cap out at 16.1h. (She is pictured above with a 5'7" rider.)

Currently she is doing "hill-work", free-jumping chute gymnastics, and training first level dressage on our ranch. Artemis has been free jumped up to 3' feet with ease and has been started over low fences under saddle. She has never been lame, loads and hauls well, stands for the farrier, and has no vices. She has been exposed to schooling shows, was boarded at UCD (a very busy boarding facility), has been through "bomb-proof" training, and was professionally started.  She was moved home from UCD due to CoVid restrictions imposed by the University.

Artimus' mother is Leilani TYG,  who's brother, Worthy Opponent, is an approved Hanoverian Stallion who is a successful preliminary3] eventer. Her bloodlines include Prinz Gaylord, Furioso II, Lehndorff, Weltmeyer, Bolero, and Gofine. (See "Leilani TYG" page).

She is the granddaughter of Waikiki (Hanoverian Celle stallion).  Pedigree for her grandsire Waikiki:

Her paternal granddaughter is Art Deco, an imported Dutch stallion, who is well known for throwing offspring  winning in dressage, hunter, and eventing shows.  She also carries some of the best “Old sport horse” European TB bloodlines (Saros, Fallow, Pardal, Olden Times, Honeyway, Princely Gift, Ratification, Precipitation).
