This lovely Rubinstein grandson is very is personable, athletic, focused, and smart with correct conformation and LOADS of presence. He has smooth gaits making him a very easy ride, in spite of his elegant, expressive movement. He has been under saddle for about 2 years, loads and hauls well, and settles into new environments quickly. Since the CoVid restrictions he worked regularly on our breeding ranch in Winters, doing hill work, gymnastic jumping and 1st Level dressage. He is appropriate for an intermediate rider or a confident, quiet-handed beginner working regularly with a trainer, who can introduce him into the show world. He spent one academic year at the UCD boarding barn, sharing the rings with the UCD Hunter/Jumper Intercollegiate Association team…. Which was 20, 17h spirited horses galloping and jumping courses (and sometimes bucking) all around him.

He is now 15.2h, making him about the fanciest dressage, hunter or eventing partner you can find in a compact and comfortable size. He loves variety and "working things out", so would also enjoy competing in Working Equitation. She is being sold because his rider/trainer has graduated from college and will be leaving riding to start her “real” career.

Rupert's mother is Half Hannoverian by a Rubinstein/Bolero stallion whose offspring are know to have a straight-forward, very trainable, and easy-going brain. Rubino Bellissimo, was Grand Prix at 9., In his later years, ridden by 18 yr. old Heidi Bergen, the pair was long listed for the ParaOlympics and training at Gladstone when he suffered his untimely death.
