Artemis TYG

**Currently bred to Rosall (Rubinstein/Abhag) for foal in April 2022**

Artemis is 16.1h, 2012 Westphalian mare with a substantial barrel (currently a size 50 girth with a jump saddle). She is pictured above with a 5'7" rider and a 5'4" rider for reference to her height and barrel size. She is naturally an easy-going mare (more “whoa” than “go”) but has a "gas pedal" if needed or desired. She has hunter conformation, great jumping form and scope, and very fluid, expressive movement. On top of all that, she has a very personable, easy-going mind with a sweetheart personality. She will make a very fancy dressage, hunter or Working Equitation partner. Thanks to our friend Richene, she had four months training at Graceland Farm in Castro Valley where she was

~jumping low fences (varying each week from cross-rails up to 2'3"),

~working on training level and first level dressage movements, and

~going on long trail walks both alone and with others.

She loads and hauls well, ties and cross-ties, stands for the farrier, and does not have any vices.

In addition, Artemis has been free- jumped up to 3' feet, which she does with incredible ease, so she has the ability and the mentality to eventually course 3' and above. She has been exposed to local schooling shows, was boarded 6 monthsat the UC Davis Equestrian Center as well as Graceland Farm (a VERY busy eventing barn). She has been through "bomb-proof" or desensitization training, and was professionally started.

Artemis' mother is Leilani TYG (See "Leilani TYG" page under the "Bloodline References" tab).

Leilani's brother, Worthy Opponent, is an approved Hanoverian Stallion and a successful preliminary eventer. Leilani's bloodlines include Prinz Gaylord, Furioso II, Lehndorff, Weltmeyer, Bolero, and Gofine.

Artemis is the granddaughter of Waikiki (Hanoverian Celle stallion).

Her paternal granddaughter is Art Deco, an imported Dutch stallion, who is well known for throwing offspring winning in dressage, hunter, and eventing shows. She also carries some of the best “Old sport horse” European TB bloodlines (Saros, Fallow, Pardal, Olden Times, Honeyway, Princely Gift, Ratification, Precipitation).
